The founders behind Singh Solar Couple
Two careers, one shared mission — helping California families go solar with honest guidance and real accountability.
Navjot Singh is the Founder and CEO of Singh Solar Couple Inc., bringing over 25 years of experience in sales, business development and customer relations. Born and raised in New Delhi, India, he began his professional journey at the age of 18, building a strong foundation in leadership, communication and meaningful customer relationships. He later earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Delhi, strengthening his expertise in business management and strategic growth.
After immigrating to the United States in 2012, Navjot continued his career in sales and technology, gaining valuable experience in the telecommunications and IT industries. His passion for innovation and helping people led him to the renewable energy sector, where he worked with leading solar organizations, including Tesla, and developed extensive knowledge in solar solutions, energy consulting and customer education.
With a vision to create a more personal and trustworthy solar experience, Navjot founded Singh Solar Couple Inc. alongside his wife, Gurnimrate (Nam) Kaur. Together they built a company focused on integrity, transparency and educating homeowners — not simply selling solar. Their mission has always been to provide families and businesses with honest guidance and customized energy solutions that create long-term value.
Known for his humble personality, strong work ethic and commitment to the community, Navjot believes success is built through trust and service. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys sports, fitness and continuous personal growth.
Gurnimrate (Nam) Kaur is the Co-Founder and CFO of Singh Solar Couple Inc. An MBA graduate with over 18 years of experience in retail and business banking, she built a strong foundation in finance, customer service and relationship management — helping individuals and businesses make informed financial decisions.
Her career later expanded into the renewable energy industry, where she worked with leading solar companies and developed expertise in solar financing, sales and customer education. Combining her background in finance, sales, marketing and customer service, she is passionate about helping homeowners understand the financial and environmental benefits of going solar.
Together with her husband, Navjot Singh, Nam turned their shared vision into reality by founding Singh Solar Couple Inc. Over the past decade the two have been dedicated to educating their community, providing honest guidance and helping California families transition to clean, renewable energy with confidence. Her goal is simple: to build lasting relationships through integrity, exceptional customer service and a commitment to a greener future — one home at a time.
Outside of her professional career, Nam has a deep passion for music. She comes from a renowned Punjabi musical family and was raised surrounded by music from an early age. A classically trained vocalist, she continues to cherish and preserve her musical heritage. She also enjoys traveling, exploring different cultures and meeting people from all walks of life.
