Why this is not 100%: since March 2026 every PG&E bill carries a Base Services Charge of about $24 a month, and PG&E states it cannot be offset by solar generation credits. No solar system can remove it. On top of that, California's net-billing rules (NEM 3.0) credit the power you export at roughly a quarter of what you pay to import it, so the value comes from using your own power rather than selling it back. These figures use PG&E average rates and Contra Costa sun data, assume no federal tax credit (the residential 25D credit expired on 31 December 2025), and deduct a mid-life inverter replacement. They are an estimate, not a quote — your rate plan, your usage pattern and your roof will move them. The only way to get real numbers is a free consultation.

These figures are a rough model built on California average rates and sun — not a quote, and not a guarantee. They do not reflect your utility rate plan or California's net-billing export rates, both of which can change the result materially. We'll confirm real numbers in your free consultation.
