Why Go Solar

The real benefits of owning your power

Solar is a long-term investment in your home. Here is what it can do for Bay Area homeowners.

Lower Your Electric Bill

Generate your own power during the day and reduce what you pay PG&E each month. We show honest projections based on your real usage, never a guaranteed zero bill.

Own, Don't Rent

Instead of paying the utility forever, you produce your own electricity. Over time, you control more of your energy costs rather than facing endless rate hikes.

Add Home Value

A well-designed, owned solar system is an asset that can make your home more attractive to future buyers. It is an upgrade that works for you every day.

Optional Battery Backup

Add a battery to keep essential circuits running during outages and store daytime power for evening use. We will help you decide if it is worth it for your home.

What's Included

Every part of a complete system

We use quality equipment and stand behind it. Here is what goes into a typical residential install.

Solar Panels

High-efficiency rooftop panels chosen to fit your roof and energy goals, built to perform reliably for decades in California conditions.

Inverter & Optimizers

Modern inverter technology converts your solar energy for home use and helps each panel perform its best, even with partial shade.

Production Monitoring

Track how much your system is producing right from your phone, so you always know your solar is working as it should.

Optional Home Battery

Add storage to back up key circuits and use more of your own power after the sun goes down. Sized to match your needs and budget.

Good Questions

Residential solar questions

Most roof types and orientations can work, including composition shingle, tile, and metal. During your consultation we assess your roof's condition, angle, and shading to confirm what is right for your home.

We will not promise a zero bill, and you should be cautious of anyone who does. A well-designed system can significantly reduce what you pay, and we show you honest projections based on your real usage.

Often yes, but an HOA cannot ban solar. California's Solar Rights Act (Civil Code section 714) voids any rule that effectively prohibits a system, and reasonable restrictions cannot add more than $1,000 to the cost or cut production by more than 10%. An HOA must also act on a complete application within 45 days. We can help you put together whatever documentation your HOA asks for.

It depends on your priorities. A battery is valuable if you want backup power during outages or want to use more of your own stored energy in the evening. We will give you a straight answer for your situation.

We are based in Concord and serve homeowners across the San Francisco Bay Area. Reach out and we will confirm we cover your location.
